Recently, the Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA) received a $14 million allocation from the General Assembly to help create or improve affordable rental housing stock in Delaware.

The following is a list of the Delaware State Housing Authorities’ (DSHA) top priorities for the $14 million allocation:

  1. Projects awarded 9% credits during the 2011 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) round.
  2. Projects that ranked for 9% credits during the 2011 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) round, but were not awarded credits.
  3. Projects requesting both 4% credits and Housing Development Fund (HDF) funding, where the applications have been submitted and the developers are already working with the Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA) on the review and underwriting of the projects.
  4. Any new projects that will be requesting 4% credits and Housing Development Fund (HDF) funding.
